NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans-born jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and Saints quarterback Drew Brees will be among the participants in upcoming graduation ceremonies at Tulane University.

Marsalis will deliver the keynote address and receive an honorary degree at Saturday morning’s ceremony in the Superdome. Brees and jazz clarinetist Dr. Michael White each will receive a Tulane President’s Medal. White’s Original Liberty Jazz Band and Topsy Chapman will perform.

Carnegie Corporation President Vartan Gregorian and World Bicycle Relief founder F. K. Day also will receive honorary degrees. Among the graduates will be Devon Walker, the football player paralyzed two years ago in a game against Tulsa.
