CONYERS, Ga. (AP) - School officials are trying to determine why a stage collapsed during a concert at a high school southeast of Atlanta, causing minor injuries to several students.

Authorities say the stage collapsed around 7 p.m. Monday at Salem High School in Rockdale County.

Rockdale County sheriff’s Cpl. Michael Camp said about 16 students were on the stage at the time.



Authorities tell WSB-TV (https://bit.ly/1oKSDHP) that several of the students were treated for minor injuries and two others were taken to Rockdale Medical Center to be further checked out.
