NINE MILE FALLS, Wash. (AP) - Officials are trying to identify the body of a man found Monday afternoon in the Spokane River south of the Seven Mile Bridge.

The sheriff’s office says homeowners found the body when they saw what they thought was a log against their dock.

KXLY reports (https://bit.ly/1nIJxeO) deputies said the body had been in the water for some time.
