ROCKWOOD, Ill. (AP) - Authorities in southern Illinois’ Jackson County are investigating after a man’s body was found at a coal terminal.
Investigators say the body was found shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday at the Cora Coal Terminal in Rockwood. The body has been tentatively identified, though the man’s name was being withheld until his relatives were notified.
Authorities say the body was discovered in an area where rail cars are dumped.
There was no immediate word on what may have caused the man’s death.
