Man dies when hit by train in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - A man has died after he was hit by a freight train in Durham.

Police spokeswoman Kammie Michael says the man was struck around 4 p.m. Monday as he walked on train tracks in Durham.

The man died at the scene. His name has not been released.
