KENT, Wash. (AP) - An 81-year-old man was killed after a collision with an Amtrak passenger train in Kent.
The Tacoma News Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1hIBLN3) that the man was identified as Charles Curran by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday. His death was ruled an accident.
Witnesses told authorities that Curran bypassed the lowering traffic gates before he was hit
The Eugene-bound train was delayed by 2 hours and 30 minutes.
