FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota State University softball team is making its fifth appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
The Bison won the Summit League championship over the weekend and earned an automatic bid to the national tournament.
NDSU (35-16) will take on Auburn (39-17-1) on May 16 in the opening round of the Minneapolis Regional. The other half of the regional bracket has Minnesota (41-9) playing Green Bay (25-12). The double-elimination tournament runs May 16-18.
