CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Charlottesville police are investigating the death of a man who was injured during an incident at a restaurant.

Police tell media outlets that 30-year-old Antonio Lamar Washington of Charlottesville suffered chest injuries. He died Saturday at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Police say Washington was injured during a disorder early Saturday at the Alhamraa Restaurant. His death is being treated as a homicide.



Police haven’t released any details.

The restaurant is located in the Ix Building. The building’s owner, Ludwig Kuttner, tells media outlets that the incident occurred during a party at the restaurant.
