LAUREL MOUNTAIN, Pa. (AP) - A coroner has confirmed the death of a western Pennsylvania woman was a homicide as police continued to search for her housemate as a person of interest in the case.
Police have yet to name or charge the man they want to question in the death of 52-year-old Angela Cavalero.
Police went to check on the woman in Laurel Mountain, a tiny borough in Westmorland County, after family members said they hadn’t heard from Cavalero for days. They found her body about 10 p.m. Friday in the home she shared with the man they continued to seek on Monday.
Police believe he may be driving a dark blue 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis with religious bumper stickers and Pennsylvania license plate JGT7999.
Police say the man should be considered dangerous.
