MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - University of Montana officials say a guard from Casper College in Wyoming is transferring to play on the Griz men’s basketball team.

School officials said Sunday Daniel Nwosu (en-WAH’-soo) played one season for the Thunderbirds and averaged 13.2 points per game.

Nwosu is a 6-foot-2 combo guard from Ottowa, Ontario. He will play as a sophomore at Montana.

Coach Wayne Tinkle says Nwosu is a physical guard who plays hard on defense and can shoot.
