MANSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A Framingham man is facing charges after witnesses told police a dump truck struck a pedestrian on a Mansfield street.

Police say 57-year-old Hung Manh Ho is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on charges of leaving the scene of an accident after causing a death and driving under the influence in connection with the death at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the hospital.



Witnesses reported the accident and told police a white truck fled the scene. A short time later, Mansfield firefighters reported seeing a white truck going the wrong way down o one-way street.

A responding officer saw damage to the vehicle’s hood and driver side.

It’s not clear of Ho has a lawyer.
