NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) - A late winter storm is delivering another round of snow to the Nebraska Panhandle and Sandhills.
The National Weather Service says the rain was expected to change over to snow in the Panhandle Sunday morning. As the storm moves east, much of Western Nebraska and the Sandhills will see snow later Sunday and overnight.
Forecasters say heavy snowfall of up to an inch or two an hour are possible.
Three to six inches of snow are expected to fall in places, and the heavy, wet snow will threaten to knock down power lines and tree limbs.
