OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Forecasters are warning that strong thunderstorms and possibly tornadoes may develop in eastern Nebraska and Iowa Sunday afternoon.

The National Weather Service says there is a moderate risk of severe weather in the area starting Sunday afternoon and continuing into Sunday night.

The weather service says parts of central and northern Kansas, southeast Nebraska and most of Iowa are likely to see strong thunderstorms, large hail, strong winds and tornadoes on Sunday.
