MINDEN, La. (AP) - An audit shows the city of Minden/s finances ended its fiscal year relatively unchanged from the previous year.

The Minden Press-Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1j9pXb5) the audit was done by certified public accountant Christine Cole of the firm Jamieson, Wise and Martin.

The audit showed Minden spent $2.6 more than the $11.4 million it took in. Cole noted this was an improvement over the previous year, when Minden spent $3 million more than its revenue.



Total revenue for the 2012-2013 fiscal year increased by $1.3 million, while city expenses showed an increase of $400,000.
