FORSYTH, Ga. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a fire that claimed the life of a man in central Georgia.
The Telegraph reports (https://bit.ly/1nzBIrU) that Monroe County emergency crews responded to the blaze at a mobile home in Forsyth on Friday afternoon and discovered the body of its owner.
Monroe County sheriff’s officials say the man who died — 57-year-old Larry Tenney — lived alone in the home.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation led them to believe that faulty wiring in the living room area caused the fire.
An autopsy was planned on Tenney’s body. Authorities said that as of late Friday, foul play was not suspected.
