GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - Great Falls police have arrested a suspect following a 2-hour standoff that began with a reported burglary in progress.

The Great Falls Tribune reported Saturday (https://gftrib.com/1mMx4oR) shots were fired during Friday’s standoff in a southside neighborhood. A male suspect suffered injuries during the incident, but not from police fire.

The man holed himself up in a modular home after police arrived to investigate a burglary. Sgt. Bryan Slavik says the man eventually was taken into custody and transported to a hospital.



The man’s identity and nature of his injuries weren’t immediately known.
