ORONO, Maine (AP) - The University of Maine is one of more than a half-dozen colleges and universities holding weekend commencements in Maine.
Best-selling author Tess Gerritsen and song writer David Mallett are speakers at commencement exercises Saturday at the flagship of the University of Maine System.
Elsewhere around the state, the University of Southern Maine’s commencement speaker is the former CEO and founder of Idexx, David Shaw. Also holding graduations are UMaine-Augusta, UMaine-Fort Kent, Unity College and Husson University.
