BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A 23-year-old Texas man is in jail after allegedly threatening people with a gun and pointing it at Bismarck police officers early Saturday morning.
Police say the man could face charges of terrorizing, assault on a police officer and carrying a concealed weapon.
Officers were called to the 2300 block of East Main Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday for a report of a man threatening people with a gun.
One officer fired at the suspect and missed after the man took aim at the officers. He fled and was later found hiding out under a car and was taken into custody.
Because no one was injured or killed in the incident, the Bismarck Tribune reports the officer who fired at the suspect hasn’t been placed on administrative leave.
