BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - A Broadwater County teenager accused of sending anonymous text messages threatening to kill area teens and to bomb Three Forks High School has been ordered held on $25,000 bail.
The 16-year-old youth was charged in Gallatin County Youth Court with felony intimidation, stalking and violating privacy in communications. He was arrested Wednesday and is being held at the Reintegrating Youthful Offenders detention facility in Galen.
According to the Bozeman Chronicle (https://tinyurl.com/kq6nmje ), a parent gave Gallatin County sheriff’s deputies text messages that her son had received the previous night. According to court documents, the youth implied someone might be stabbed. Other parents reported similar messages.
Authorities say the youth denied sending the messages, but said he may have made threats after blacking out.
