CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A former elementary school administrator in Charlotte has pleaded after being accused of assaulting a student’s mother.
The Charlotte Observer reported (https://bit.ly/1rIAr1k ) that Rodney Roseboro entered an Alford plea on a charge of assaulting a female last May. An Alford plea does not admit guilt, but concedes there is enough evidence to result in a conviction.
The former dean of students at Winding Springs Elementary was placed on probation for three years.
A sexual battery charge from the incident last May was dropped. Roseboro was accused of inappropriately touching the woman.
He was suspended last June and was fired in January.
