MESA, Ariz. (AP) - Police say a Mesa man is facing multiple charges in a shooting outside a nail salon that left an employee wounded.

Police spokesman Steve Berry says 36-year-old Dan Tran has been booked for one count of aggravated assault, three counts of disorderly conduct with a weapon and one count of reckless discharge of a weapon.

Berry says Tran, a former employee at Elite Nails salon, showed up there Saturday afternoon and shot 28-year-old Tam Pham as the two were arguing.

Authorities say Pham is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.

Investigators say it’s still unclear what motivated Tran to shoot the victim.
