Savannah police search for driver who damaged park

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Savannah police are searching for a driver who damaged a historic park.

The Savannah Morning News (https://bit.ly/1ci4YBt ) reports that a Ford Mustang drove onto Battlefield Park after midnight Sunday. The vehicle drove circles on the parade ground and monument section.

As much as $25,000 in damage was reported.

The Coastal Heritage Society has offered a $1,000 reward to anyone who can provide information leading to an arrest.
