COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Richland County deputies have charged a man with murder in a shooting outside a Columbia nightclub.
Investigators said the victim of the early morning Thursday shooting, 35-year-old Luther Mitchell, was unarmed and did not act aggressively toward 30-year-old CD Cash.
Deputies say a woman accused Mitchell of breaking in her car and they started to argue. Investigators say Cash then got involved and shot the victim several times.
Cash was arrested Saturday morning and remains in the Richland County jail. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
