VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) - Two people are being inducted into the North Dakota Agriculture Hall of Fame.

A Saturday afternoon induction ceremony is scheduled during the North Dakota Winter Show for farm broadcaster Al Gustin and the late Alfred Black, a renowned soil scientist.

Gustin is best known for his decades of award-winning work in Bismarck as the farm director for KFYR-TV and Clear Channel Radio stations. He retired in November 2012.



Black was a longtime director of the Northern Great Plains Research Laboratory at Mandan. He also started the Area 4 SCD Cooperative Research Farm near Mandan. He died last July.
