DENVER (AP) - Two men have been charged after an elderly Lakewood man was found dead in his ransacked home.

The Denver Post reports (https://bit.ly/1k3NWqJ ) 22-year-old James Dominguez-Castor and 20-year-old Stephvon Atencio were charged Friday with first-degree murder in the March 1 slaying of 79-year-old Robert Phippen. They are being held without bail at the Jefferson County jail.

Dominguez-Castor was charged with 22 counts, including first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, robbery of an at-risk adult, aggravated motor vehicle theft and two counts of being a habitual criminal. Atencio was charged with 15 counts, including first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, robbery of an at-risk adult and aggravated motor vehicle theft.
