HARTFORD, Vt. (AP) - Vermont police have accused a Quechee woman of embezzling over $126,000 from a research firm in the state.
Police say 50-year-old Jayne Concialdi was a former employee of New England Research. Police say she turned herself in at the Hartford Police Department with her attorney on Thursday.
She’s accused of embezzlement, forgery, false personation and grand larceny over the course of two years.
New England Research’s website says it “applies experimental data on rocks at all scales to provide physically based solutions to energy.”
Neither Concialdi nor her attorney could be immediately located for comment Friday morning. A message left with New England Research was not immediately returned.
