Man shot in leg during robbery attempt

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington police say a man was shot during a robbery attempt.

It happened about 1 a.m. Friday on North Jefferson Street. Officers say a man was walking when he was approached by two men. The man ran away, but was shot in the right leg.

He was treated at a local hospital.
