LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) - A Loveland police officer wounded in a shooting last weekend has been released from the hospital.

The Loveland Police Department says officer Garret Osilka (oh-SIL’-kuh) continues to improve but it couldn’t release specific details Friday.

Osilka was wounded during a traffic stop on Sunday.



Police arrested a 23-year-old man on charges of attempted first degree murder of a peace officer and first-degree assault.
