BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - Two pedestrians were hit by cars within an hour of each other Thursday night in Bridgeport.

The Connecticut Post reports (https://bit.ly/1cB5kDR ) a person was struck shortly after 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Boston and North Avenues. Just after 7:20 p.m., another pedestrian was hit at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Commerce Drive.

The identities and conditions of the victims were not available. Both people were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.



Bridgeport Hospital spokesman John Cappiello says one patient is in fair condition.

A message was left with a police spokesman.
