COVENTRY, R.I. (AP) - Police have identified the victim of a fatal house fire in Coventry as a 91-year-old man.
Authorities say Thomas Castellucci died in the fire at his residence on Knotty Oak Road on Sunday evening. Police are still trying to locate next of kin.
Police arrived at the house around 7:20 p.m. and found it fully in flames. Officers tried to approach the house to see if anyone was inside but couldn’t because of the flames.
Firefighters arrived and put out the flames and were able to eventually enter the house from a rear door. They found Castellucci dead inside.
