RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Still more winter weather is headed to North Carolina this week.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for western and central North Carolina, beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday and running until noon Friday.

Forecasters said snow, sleet and ice is possible in the Asheville and Boone area. Up to 3 inches of snow is possible in some parts of the mountains and foothills.



Up to an inch of snow is possible around Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem.
