COQUILLE, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon judge has sentenced a Lane County man to 10 years in prison for killing his half brother last fall.
The World newspaper reports (https://is.gd/AAGGiG ) that Judge Martin Stone sentenced Ladd Robson on Tuesday for first-degree manslaughter under the terms of a plea agreement.
Robson had been charged with murder in the Nov. 20 death of Lance Lucero at a home owned by Robson’s parents in the southern Oregon community of Myrtle Point.
Police and firefighters found Lucero lying on the floor with severe head and facial injuries when they responded to a 911 call about an injured man. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at a hospital.
Neighbors told police they had heard the brothers fighting inside the house that morning.
