NAVARRE BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Officials say they’re about to expand the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center and build a residential sea turtle pool.

County officials say underground utility lines were placed in February. Now, they’re waiting on authorization to use salt water wells before breaking ground on the project.

The Pensacola News Journal (https://on.pnj.com/MQ6Jd6 ) reports construction is expected to wrap up sometime over the summer.

The pool will house non-releasable sea turtles.
