ELLENWOOD, Ga. (AP) - Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and a woman hospitalized in DeKalb County, outside Atlanta.
Police tell WSB-TV (https://bit.ly/NWTdoW) that three children were inside the home in the Ellenwood area when the gunfire happened late Wednesday night. Someone called 911, and arriving officers found two people shot. The children were not injured.
Police say they believe the shooting may be related to a domestic dispute, but they’re not sure what sparked the violence.
Police did not disclose the relationship between the two shooting victims, but said the man died and the woman was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Her condition wasn’t available early Thursday morning.
