CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) - The first of five patient-centered medical homes as part of a health enterprise zone is opening in Prince George’s County.

Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown and Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker are scheduled to attend the opening of the Global Vision Foundation on Thursday in Capital Heights.

It’s the first of five places of its kind set to open in Prince George’s County.

The goal of health enterprise zones is to enhance services to reduce health disparities among racial and ethnic minorities or in underserved communities.
