LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police have arrested the mother of two toddlers who were found wandering filthy and alone in South Los Angeles.
City News Service says 32-year-old Sidnicka Wilson was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of child abuse.
It’s not immediately known whether she had a lawyer.
The brothers, one about 18 months old and the other about 3 years old, were seen Monday morning near their apartment on east 85th Street.
Luis Rodriguez told KNBC-TV that he’d stopped to fix his broken-down truck when he spotted the older boy pedaling a tricycle.
He found the other boy on a sidewalk.
Police say the older boy was known to walk to a nearby liquor store to get bread to feed himself and his brother.
The children are now in county custody.
