RAYVILLE, La. (AP) - State police are investigating a three-vehicle accident that claimed the life of a 57-year-old Monroe man.
The accident happened Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 20 in Richland Parish.
Trooper Albert Paxton says Thomas Gilmer’s pickup side swiped a truck, crossed the media and hit an 18-wheeler head on.
Paxton says Gilmer was pronounced dead at the scene.
One of the other drivers suffered minor injuries.
