BELOIT, Wis. (AP) - Authorities have identified the victims of a deadly house fire in Beloit.
Rock County Deputy Coroner Lou Smit says 61-year-old Clint Christensen and 33-year-old Jaime Christensen died in the fire Wednesday.
Smit tells the Beloit Daily News (https://bit.ly/1ctXsnq0 ) that Clint Christensen died while trying to shield his daughter, Jaime, from the fire. A third victim, 60-year-old Caren Christensen, is in critical condition at UW Hospital in Madison.
Police say firefighters were called to the house shortly before 4 a.m.
Beloit fire and police departments are investigating.
