ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - Students in one Indiana school district will spend two Saturdays this month making up days they’ve missed due to cold and snow, but they won’t have to go to class to do it.

WISH-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1kP42EG ) Zionsville students will complete their makeup course work online. Lessons for students in kindergarten through grade 4 have been posted on the school district’s website, and teachers will be available for questions this week and Saturday.

Students who lack a computer can borrow one from the school or use a school computer lab on the two makeup days.

Districts across the state have had to get creative to meet the state’s requirement for instruction days. Some are lengthening the school day, while others are extending the school year.
