LONDON (AP) - Crystal Palace midfielder Jason Puncheon has been fined 15,000 pounds ($25,000) by the Football Association for comments he made on Twitter regarding his former manager Neil Warnock.
Puncheon posted a series of tweets which he later deleted after Warnock criticized him for a missed penalty against Tottenham. Warnock said “there’s no way I would’ve trusted him with a penalty. You’ve got to have somebody a little bit more cool, and he’s not like that, Jason.”
The FA also warned Puncheon about his future conduct.
