NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas’ high school basketball playoffs are being delayed another day because of snow and ice.
The Arkansas Activities Association said Tuesday that the opening rounds in all seven high school sports classifications are now scheduled for Thursday. The AAA on Monday had delayed the start of play in classes 1A, 2A, 3A, 5A and 6A from Tuesday until Wednesday while games in classes 4A and 7A were scheduled to start Wednesday.
Tournament play for Class 6A, 5A, 3A, 2A and 1A is now scheduled for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday while classes 4A and 7A are to play Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday.

6A-Jonesboro
5A-Alma
4A-Lonoke
3A-Charleston
2A-Hampton
1A-North Arkansas College, Harrison
Finals will be held March 13-15 at Hot Springs.
