BRANCH, N.Y. (AP) - Four people were hurt when a 75-year-old driver struck a commercial building in Smithtown, Long Island.
Newsday (https://bit.ly/OYBgHz ) says it happened just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Middle Country Road, near Terry Road, in the Village of Branch.
Suffolk County police say the driver and three people inside the building were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with minor injuries. The injured included a mother and her 9-year-old son.
No charges have been filed. Police are still investigating.
