100 bags of heroin found during Vt. drug arrest

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say they found 100 bags of heroin and other drugs during a traffic stop in Brattleboro.

Police have arrested 26-year-old Jasmine Sastre of Springfield, Mass., on charges of trafficking and possessing heroin and possessing cocaine. She was jailed at the Southern State Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail and is scheduled for a court appearance on Wednesday.

Sastre was a passenger in a car stopped by police Monday afternoon.
