FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - A semi-truck containing 180,000 eggs was reported stolen from behind a southwest Florida convenience store.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office reports that the truck’s driver told deputies he had parked the blue Volvo semi with a white Great Dane refrigerated trailer and Pennsylvania plates behind a 7-Eleven store on Sunday.

He last checked on it at 10 a.m. Sunday.



The driver said that when he returned at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, the truck and the 180,000 eggs inside, were gone.

The News-Press (https://newspr.es/1kjrMQt ) reports that the there are no cameras at the scene that could captured the truck or when it was taken.
