MONTEZUMA, Colo. (AP) - The town of Montezuma is preparing to hold an election Tuesday that is raising a lot of eyebrows, including qualifications for voters and for office.

Montezuma has 65 residents, according to the 2010 census, and as many as 61 registered voters for this election.

According to the Summit Daily (https://tinyurl.com/lzzcfy7 ), the election features a contested race for mayor and 10 candidates vying for six open seats on the board of trustees.

Some local residents say a number of voters and some candidates own second houses and should not be allowed to vote or run for office on Tuesday.
