8-year-old boy struck and killed in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (AP) - A child has died after he was struck by an SUV in Milwaukee.

Police say the 8-year-old boy was crossing a north side street when he was hit about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. WTMJ-TV (https://bit.ly/1gT9mIy ) says the driver who struck the boy is cooperating with investigators. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Jacari Maxwell.
