WALNUT, Ohio (AP) - Authorities believe a man who died overnight in a single-vehicle crash south of Columbus was driving drunk.
The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office says 43-year-old Christopher Seyfang of Ashville was driving in Walnut when his car went off the right side of the road and down an embankment.
Seyfang’s car then hit a culvert and a utility pole, causing the car to roll several times into a farm field and come to a rest upside-down.
Seyfang was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office says he was wearing a seatbelt and that they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
