CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Bond has been set at $1 million for a Tennessee man charged with attempted kidnapping twice within a week.

The Leaf-Chronicle reported (https://leafne.ws/1hob43l ) that police arrested 25-year-old Garon Brown of Clarksville Friday night and booked him into the Montgomery County Jail.

Police say Brown had been released Wednesday on $30,000 bond after a woman accused him of trying to kidnap her from a gas station on March 19.

Sheriff’s spokesman Jamie Dexter says a second woman came forward after that and accused Brown of trying to abduct her from a gas station that same day.

A new warrant was then issued Friday for Brown’s arrest with bond set at $1 million.

Brown remained in the jail on Sunday. Jail records did not list an attorney.
