SUMMER FALLS, Wash. (AP) - Grant County authorities say three children were rescued from Summer Falls on Sunday afternoon after a car went into the water.

The Columbia Basin Herald (https://bit.ly/1dGBtds ) reports the adult driver is missing.

Grant County Sheriff’s spokesman Kyle Foreman says fishermen rescued two children and authorities rescued a third. They believe the car went into the water near Pinto Dam. Foreman says a dive team was searching for the driver of the vehicle.

Summer Falls is about 30 minutes north of Moses Lake. The children were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Other details, including the children’s ages and condition, were not immediately available Sunday.
