CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The chief executive officer of the Wyoming Business Council is leaving at the end of March after 10 years on the job.
Gov. Matt Mead’s office announced that Bob Jensen was stepping down effective March 28 to spend more time with his wife, who has multiple sclerosis.
Mead says in a statement that Jensen has been tireless in pursuit of economic opportunities for Wyoming.
He noted economic development projects undertaken under Jensen’s tenure include expansion of the rail industry in Evanston, Casper, Upton and Cheyenne; digital industry and data center growth around the state; and growth of the manufacturing industry.
